Why should I advertise on
netsky.com.au?
How much does it cost?
There is a one-time charge of
$10 for up to 3 months, but you can choose between 14 days, 1 month,
or three months. Any changes you want to make to your ad are free.
What are the steps?
Just follow five easy steps to place your ad:
- Create your ad with all of your information. If you want to, add your own
photo.
- Preview your ad to ensure that everything looks accurate.
- Register your profile so we can let you know when your ad is posted on
netsky.com.au.
- Numbering your ads.
- Pay for your ad through our secure server.
What information do I need to place an ad?
Here’s what you need to begin:
- Your credit card and billing address
- Your asking price.
- A photo of what you want to advertise, if you can't or think is
inconvenient for you to send it over the Internet. (if you choose that
option, it will charge you an additional $5 for each photo.)
- If you need to change something in the ad later, no problem. You can come back and modify your ad if it is necessary.
How do buyers contact me?
You choose how you would like to be contacted — by phone, e-mail or both. You must choose at least one method so prospective buyers can let you know
if they are interested in your product.
How do I protect my identity?
Because you choose how you would like to be contacted by buyers — via phone, e-mail or both — you can manage how you are identified. For example, instead of listing your full name, you can use your first initial and last name along with an e-mail account so that buyers may contact you.

Can I post multiple ads at once?
You can place more than one ad, but you have to create and pay separately for each ad.
If you are a company registered at netsky.com.au, and you would
want multiple ads, we could give you discounts. If you want extra
information, go to Contact Us.
When will my ad appear on
netsky.com.au?
Your ad will post to netsky.com.au a few minutes after you pay for it.
How much does it cost to modify or extend my ad?
All modifications and extensions to your ad are free of charge.
What credit cards may I use?
Netsky.com.au accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and
Discover.
Can I do this by fax or phone?
No ads will be taken by fax or over the phone.
Creating the Ad:
How do I add my own photo?
You can upload your own photo to your ad. During the process of creating your ad, you will be asked to include your own photo or to choose one from our photo library. To upload your own photo:
- Size your photo to 270 pixels wide by 190 pixels high.
- Crop the photo so that your product is centered in the photo and is clearly visible.
- If you want to upload a photo from a Web address, enter the URL starting with “http://”
- Make sure that your file is saved in a GIF or JPEG format. If it is not, convert it to one of these files before you upload your photo.
How can I get a digital photo from a paper print or negative?
If you already have a print or negative of the photo you want to use in your ad, you can bring it to your local drugstore, film-processing or copy center. Many major drugstores and film processing centers have self-service kiosks that allow you to scan your photo and save it on a disk or CD-ROM. If you don't want to scan a photo yourself, many copy centers and film processing centers will do this for you. If you have a photo of your
product on a undeveloped roll of film, most major drugstores and film processors will process the film and save images on a disk or e-mail them to you for a nominal charge.

does not develop negatives.

How do I change my password?
To change your password, click on the Modify Ad tab and then click on Modify My Profile. Follow the prompts for Changing My Password.
What if I forget my password?
You can retrieve your password in two ways. Click on Forgot My Password to select one of the following:
- Have your password e-mailed to you at the address you gave when you registered, or
- If you chose a “password hint” when you registered, supply your user name and ZIP code to get your password hint immediately.
Payment
What is a secure server?
netsky.com.au’s secure server prevents anyone from seeing the information you provided at the time you purchased your ad.
What happens when I pay?
When you agree to purchase an ad on netsky.com.au, we charge your credit card for the price of the ad and then post your ad to the netsky.com.au site. This all takes place within a few minutes of clicking on “I purchase.”
Do I get a refund if I cancel my ad before the expiration date?
We do not give refunds for removing ads from the site before they expire. The purchase price includes exposure to millions of prospective buyers who visit netsky.com.au. In addition, your ad runs for 14 days, and we allow you to modify or extend it at any time, free of charge.
Maneuvering Around the “My Ads Page”
How do I see my ad on the netsky.com.au site?
Once your ad posts to the netsky.com.au site, you can see it by going to the Used for Sale tab and entering your ZIP code and
model of car, type of job, type of property list of all the current on
line ads in your area will appear.
What happens when I delete my ad?
When you delete your ad from the netsky.com.au site, it is removed within a few minutes. You can access your ad to make changes or to put it back up on the site for 30 days from the date it was deleted.
How do I change my ad?
From the netsky.com.au home page, click on Sell Your Car on the upper left side of the page. Then click on the button labeled Change or Extend Your Ad. Next type in your user name and password. You'll then be able to manage all aspects of your ad.
How do I extend my ad?
You can extend your ad for an additional 14 days for no charge. Extensions are available once your ad is on the site and can be done any time up to 30 days after your ad expires. For example, if your ad is on the site on Jan. 1 and it expires at midnight on Jan. 15, you can extend your ad anytime between Jan. 1 and midnight on Feb. 15.
To extend your ad: From the netsky.com.au home page, click on Sell Your Car on the upper left side of the page. Then click on the button labeled Change or Extend Your Ad. Next type in your user name and password. You'll then be able to manage all aspects of your ad.

Register Domain
Name:
If you want to register your domain name, you have to
choose ten (10) possible domain names, in order of preference, just in
case someone already owns the one you want. If all ten are owned
by other people, we will contact you and tell you to choose ten others
until we find one for you.
We can provide .com, .com.au, .org, .net, .org.au, .net.au.
We also offer free domain names for www.yourname.netsky.com.au.

If you've got a web site and you want it to work for
24 hours, you don't want to use so much electricity, use special
telephone lines, and you don't want to spend so much money on internet
expenses, computer equipment & computer specialists you can come
to our web hosting.

Web page/ site design:
What you need:
1. First you need to prepare your documents and photos
(put them in order, show which photo goes with which page, tell us which
picture needs what animation, etc).
2. To save your money, we offer cheaper prices if you
type it in Microsoft Frontpage, or if you don't have it, in Notepad and
save it on a disk. Another way to save money is to scan your own
photos, convert it to GIF or JPEG format, and if you need to, crop your
pictures.
3. If you want us to design your titles, signs, etc, go
to the pricing for more information.

Administration:
When you want a computer system to build your web site,
etc but you don't want to have a specialist to maintain and setup your
computer, we could do all of those jobs for you, from setting up your
computer system and maintaining it to building your web site.

If you don't have a very large variety of products and
you don't want to have a special web site just for so little products,
you can save money by putting your products on sale in our Shopping
